法国独立游戏发行商Plug in Digital今日宣布，已经获得由本国资产管理公司Inter Invest Capital融资的200万欧元（约1526万元人民币），这笔资金将用来拓展亚洲市场。
虽然200万欧元对于大型发行商来说也许不值一提，随便打打广告便烧完了，但是对于类似Plug In Digital这样的中小型发行商而言绝对是意义深远。目前该公司在Steam平台上已经发行了255款独立游戏（有趣的是，其中不乏一些由国内独立游戏团队开发的作品的海外版，例如《永恒边缘》、《纸境奇缘》等等），公司本身也拥有一个名为Playdius的游戏发行平台。
与此同时，由于公司业务的增长，Plug in Digital在法国蒙彼利埃和巴黎办公室的员工人数已经翻了一倍。
首席执行官Francis Ingrand对此表示：
