据IGN报道，Netflix已重启《猎魔人》衍生剧项目，将聚焦希里在第三季结尾加入的”耗子帮”少年团伙。
去年四月《The Rats: A Witcher Tale猎魔人：老鼠盗贼团》前传剧集被取消时，业内曾推测该剧内容会被压缩后作为闪回片段融入《巫师》真人剧第四季。原定拍摄六个月，但实际仅拍摄两个月便中止，只完成了一至两集素材。虽然Netflix从未公开说明，但外界普遍认为平台在看过初期样片后决定放弃制作独立剧集。
近日Redanian Intelligence爆料称该项目已重新启动，但此次将改为独立电影制作。剧情梗概为：”六名少年窃贼必须依靠他们的犯罪技巧，策划职业生涯中最大规模的抢劫行动，目标直指王国最危险的犯罪集团。”将由梅尔齐·阿尔马斯执导，海莉·霍尔编剧，《猎魔人》剧集总监劳伦·希斯里奇与执行制片人托梅克·巴金斯基将共同担任制片。
