上周，虚拟现实开发者大会（Virtual Reality Developers Conference，VRDC）举办方发布了第二份年度VRDC《VR/AR创新性报告》，该报告汇集了600多位专业人士关于VR、AR以及MR领域发展的观点与见解。
媒体对这些专业人士进行了一场关于AR及MR的调查，当调查对象被问及长期来看，AR与MR占有的市场份额是否将比VR更大时，大多数人（77%）给出了肯定的回答。
一位表示同意该观点的受访者说到，“我曾经在AR行业工作过一段时间，AR对于用户来说是个更易理解的概念，它并不能算是一个平台，而是一个可以改进现有平台的工具。我本身也将AR当作一种可视化工具，而不是一个新平台。新平台的说法可能会让人望而却步，而工具显然更平易近人更有吸引力。”
另外有人认为，MR是VR的终极状态，实现MR花的时间要比单纯的VR来得多，但却能给用户更丰富的体验。
尽管如此，一位反对AR与MR将比VR更受欢迎的受访者表示，AR/MR与VR的问题就是两码事，VR更适合讲故事，而AR则更适合将故事融入现实世界中。
VRDC Fall 2017将于9月21日至22日在旧金山举行，涵盖游戏、娱乐、品牌展示、医疗保健、培训及设计等行业的沉浸式体验开发者将聚在一起，讨论与分享VR、AR及MR领域的发展进程与成果。
