尽管目前，曾火遍全球的“吃鸡游戏”《绝地求生》正面临着用户缓慢流失的囧境，但随着其正式登陆Xbox端，这位吃鸡鼻祖正走在开拓新市场的路上。据报道，近日在韩国评级网站上出现了《绝地求生》PS4版的身影，根据页面的显示，该网站在9月11日收到了申请，并对游戏进行了审查。对于此消息，《绝地求生》目前还未做出明确解释。
根据网络上盛传的截图显示，韩国游戏分级机构对《绝地求生》PS4版的评级定为了青少年不宜(Youth not available)；定为此级的原因应是《绝地求生》作为一款生存类FPS游戏，通过现实武器和红色血液来进行表达，对于青少年过于暴力。
于2017年3月登陆Steam抢先体验的《绝地求生》，在2017年12月21日脱离Steam抢先体验正式发售；也正是同一月份，《绝地求生》登陆了Xbox One预览项目，2018年9月正式在Xbox One上发售。
在2018年年初，蓝洞CEO在接受采访时曾表示，虽然想把游戏做成全平台游戏，但是由于Playstation平台并没有所谓的预览版的政策，所以想要登陆PS4得做好一切的准备工作方可。可想而知，《绝地求生》若是登陆PS4将有大量玩家入驻，但鉴于《堡垒之夜》的前车之鉴，PS4版《绝地求生》应该无法跨平台联机。
