抢劫射击名作《收获日2》的发行商Starbreeze，因近期话题殭尸射击新作《超杀：行尸走肉》（Overkill’s The Walking Dead）销售失利的冲击，导致这间瑞典游戏公司CEO Bo Andersson Klint 宣布辞职，并为眼下的财务危机采取急迫的手段。
据Gamesindustry.biz报道，Starbreeze在2017年的税前损益有着高达2220万美元的亏损，比起2016年的700万美元亏损明显大幅负成长，这样的结果令这位2013年就一直担任公司CEO及产品总监的Klint责无旁贷。
同时，《超杀：行尸走肉》的销售不佳导致近期推出“新手版”半价策略来挽救亏损，而Klint的离开还不是唯一的坏消息，因为Starbreeze目前已向法院申请“破产重建”（reconstruction），这是瑞典境内公司面临破产的救援程序。
事实上，OVERKILL工作室相关作品自从《收获日2》之后，Starbreeze在《急袭：二战》（Lion Game，Lion多数成员皆是OVERKILL工作室班底）与《超杀：行尸走肉》的销售接连失利，为此陷入财务危机并不奇怪。
Starbreeze表示，基于资金流动短缺，这项决定被视为公司提供谈判长期财务的解决方案，以及实施组织和营运变更所需时间的必要步骤。这也意味着Starbreeze正进入开源节流的阶段，以应付眼前的财务周转困境。
