Sensor Tower 预估，2018年第四季度任天堂在App Store和Google Play上的营收将达到1.17亿美元，同比增幅为47％，创造了新记录。Sensor Tower提到，由于《失落的龙约》最新版本的推动，任天堂在该季度增加了5420万美元的营收。 整个2018年，任天堂在移动游戏市场上的总收入为3.48亿美元，较2017年增长15％。
2017年2月推出的策略手游《火焰纹章：英雄》全年收入达2.3亿美元，占总收入的66%。截至目前，该游戏已累计获得4.87亿美元的总收入。
尽管《失落的龙约》在第三季度末才上线，但依然贡献了5840万美元的营收，占任天堂手游全年收入的17％。截至发稿，其收入已经超过6,000万美元，其中66％来自日本玩家。虽然《失落的龙约》只在五个国家和地区发行，但整体收入与在40个国家和地区发行的《火焰纹章：英雄》旗鼓相当。
《动物之森：口袋营地》是任天堂发行第三款移动游戏，去年11月正好满一周岁。根据Sensor Tower的统计，《动物之森：口袋营地》在2018年的营收为4860万美元。
此外，任天堂的首款手游《超级马里奥跑酷》的表现不太理想。2018年该产品的收入超过1000万美元，但相比2017年的3100万美元差距甚远。
Sensor Tower表示，进入2019年后，任天堂的重心将很快转向下一款手游《马里奥赛车：巡回赛》（Mario Kart Tour），该产品将在3月底前首次亮相。与《超级马里奥跑酷》不同，《马里奥赛车：巡回赛》预计将采用传统的内购模式，而非一次性的内容付费解锁。
