在近日的一次采访中，《死亡搁浅》主演之一的“弩哥”诺曼·瑞杜斯分享了他与小岛秀夫合作时的趣事与感受，并且表示别再问他关于《死亡搁浅》电影的事了。
弩哥称小岛是他“合作过的最棒的人之一”，但同时也坦言，自己在参与《死亡搁浅》拍摄时完全没有动作捕捉的经验，为了学习如何表演，他特地去看了“本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇演狮子王还是什么玩意儿的片段”（应该是指《霍比特人》当中的巨龙史矛革），看着对方的夸张表情，他自嘲地表示：“我去，他演得可比我好多了。”
瑞杜斯描述动作捕捉过程时也忍俊不禁：“你穿着一身紧身莱卡衣，上面绑满了小球，跟所有东西粘在一起。你本来是要和蕾雅·赛杜来一场亲密戏的，结果额头总是撞到摄像头。和麦斯拍也是一样的。”
他还回忆道，小岛在现场经常提出一些让人摸不着头脑的指示：“他会走过来说：‘现在捡起这个娃娃，然后开始哭。’你就问他为什么哭，他会开始讲一些关于搁浅现象的高深设定，你就一脸懵，只能说‘我信你，但我真的不懂。’然后他又突然说：‘快抬头看！天上有鲸鱼！’”
谈到目前正在筹备的《死亡搁浅》电影，弩哥则表示“我知道有个电影项目，但是我对此一无所知，真的别再问我了，《芭蕾杀姬》的首映式上就有好多人来问我。”
